- Test any product on a hidden section first.
- If there's no tag, don't guess.
Why the common fix backfires
Upholstery has a cleaning code on the tag — W, S, WS or X. Using water on an S-code fabric can ring and shrink it permanently. Carpet products are not upholstery products.
The honest limit
Upholstery is quoted from a photo, because the fabric decides the method. We won't price it blind.
