Enzyme flush
The affected area is flooded with enzyme solution in enough volume to reach the depth the urine reached, then extracted back out to draw contamination up out of the padding. A separate enzyme treatment then addresses microbiology and bacterial oils on the carpet face.
What is actually happening
Enzymes are biological agents that digest the organic source of the odour — they are not deodorisers. They require volume and contact time. A light mist evaporates before it can work, which is why odour returns after a cheap treatment.
How you prevent it
UV inspection first, so the treated area matches the actual contaminated area.
