Slime & Putty
on carpet.
Work it out mechanically before adding anything wet. Lift as much as possible with a dull edge, then treat the residue and the colour as two separate problems. Patience does more here than any product.

FIRST 60 SECONDS MATTER MOSTNever do this
Never scrub it in and never soak it. Slime is largely a polymer with adhesive behaviour, and water spreads the mass through the pile rather than releasing it. Do not reach for a mystery spotter — several contain optical brighteners.
THIS IS WHAT MAKES IT PERMANENTWhy slime & putty behaves this way
Homemade and shop-bought slime is usually a bonded polymer carrying strong dye and often glitter. The polymer wants mechanical removal, the dye behaves like a dye — a colour change in the fibre rather than soil on it — and the glitter is simply particulate that needs vacuuming out afterwards.
All work is subject to a $200 minimum service charge. Per-room and per-square-foot rates are building blocks toward that minimum, not standalone visit prices.
